Customer Rating: Summary: A WASTE OF MONEY ! Comment: I PURCHASED 2 "YARDGURAD ANIMAL & PEST REPELLERS" IN MAY 2008. MY HOPES WERE THAT THEY WOULD KEEP THE RACCOONS FROM EATING FROM OUR BIRDFEEDERS. THESE THINGS DO NOT PHASE THEM AT ALL !! I EVEN PLACED THE REPELLERS 2-3 FT FROM THE FEEDERS IN THE FLOWER GARDEN AND WE STILL WATCHED THE RACCOONS EAT TIL THEIR HEART'S CONTENT. MAYBE THE REPELLERS WILL WORK ON OUR DEER PROBLEM IN THE WINTER, BC THEY SURELY ARE NOT BOTHERING THE RACCOONS ! Customer Rating: Summary: Finally the cats are staying away!! Comment: We have tried many things to keep all the neighborhood cats out of our garden beds and the Yard Guard is the only one that has worked. The cats (unless they're very old and can't hear) hate the "high frequency" and STAY AWAY. We do have to unplug it though when our grandkids are at our house because of their excellent hearing.
