Customer Rating: Summary: Best loppers ever! Comment: The Fiscars 7972, 15 inch anvil loppers are the toughest, most durable loppers I have ever used. They have survived cutting roots buried in gravel and other, similar abuses with no visible damage. Despite the compact 15 inch total length, these geared loppers have plenty of power for nipping dried hardwood limbs.
Constructed of glass-filled nylon, the only metal on the 7972's is the cutting blade and two large pivot screws. I have destroyed all-metal loppers. These promise to outlast 5 conventional ones.
